Recipe of the Day: Burger Steak

Try this innovation to the Salisbury Steak!

1/2 kg ground beef or pork
2 red onions chopped
1 tsp iodized salt
2 tsp ground black pepper
1 cup cornstarch
1 egg
1 tbsp garlic, minced1 can sliced mushrooms
1 pack Knorr mushroom soup
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic

1. Mix ground meat, onions, salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1/2 cup cornstarch, and egg in a mixing bowl. Once everything is mixed thoroughly, take a handful and flatten to create burgers patties.

2. Steam each burger patty until the form is solid. Haul the patties and fry to a golden brown color. Set aside.

3. Follow the procedures in cooking mushroom soup according to package instructions. Add garlic, 1/2 cup cornstarch and soy sauce and stir until desired thickness is achieved. Add 1 tsp pepper (...this is actually the same recipe to copy the Jollibee's gravy!)

4. Stir fry mushroom for 5 minutes and add to gravy. Pour mixture over burgers.

It would more likely taste the same as Jollibee's if you use beef for your patties! Enjoy!
